It’s almost that time of year when tracks that are seasonally closed will be open again so we can get out into the wild.
Parks Victoria works with Four Wheel Drive Victoria to keep tracks accessible year-round for visitors to remote areas. To safeguard these tracks and protect water quality, many roads and trails are closed to vehicles during warmer months. Most seasonal closures occur after the King’s Birthday long weekend in June, reopening before the Melbourne Cup Weekend in November, though delays may happen if conditions aren’t safe.
